What is the membership?

The SK Coffee membership gives you access to exclusive coffee and invitations to VIP events, with 10% off online purchases and free shipping! You get the coffee you want on your schedule; it’s not a subscription.

How does a membership differ from a subscription?

The subscription is an autopilot option, sending you a fresh bag directly to your doorstep; set it and forget it. With a membership, members have the freedom to buy our coffee on their schedule at a discount and with free shipping. If that isn’t enough, members also have access to exclusive beans and invitations to VIP events.

Can I get free shipping on my subscription?

No. Unfortunately, membership benefits cannot be applied to a subscription order. The subscription service is a fixed rate plus shipping costs. A member can still purchase a subscription but not at a 10% discount or with free shipping, or purchase exclusive beans through a subscription. A subscriber can still benefit from having a membership because they would receive invitations to special events and access to exclusive beans with free shipping on top of their weekly/monthly subscription. If there’s an exclusive bean you’d like to try, simply pause your subscription for however long the new beans last and resume once you’re running low.

Do I have to use a discount code to activate the 10% discount and free shipping?

Nope. Members will be able to see the discounted prices for all online purchases as they browse our selection. Free shipping is automatically applied to all members’ orders in checkout. There's no hassle to remember special codes, just don't forget your account password! One caveat, for the free shipping to register you need to use the same name as your account when checking out.

I have a membership but I can't see discounted prices.

To see the discounted prices, you must be logged in on the site to the account that the membership was purchased under. Don’t worry, if you forget to do this before you add products to your cart, there’s an option to log in during checkout. Once logged in, discounts and free shipping will be applied to your cart. If you are still having issues, reach out to us and we try and sort it out.

Where can I find member-exclusive beans?

Exclusive beans can be found with the rest of our products under the “Coffee” page and will be added as we get them in stock. We don't follow a specific schedule of having a set number of exclusive batches each week. Remember, they are special and rare, and we like to leave it up to the randomness of the seasonal crop. Watch your inbox closely because we'll make sure to let you know when we get new beans in, but we can't promise they won't be gone by the time you see it. You do not need to be a member to see the exclusive beans, but you will have to be a member to purchase them.

What are the “exclusive events”?

We want to offer special events for our members to experience coffee. These opportunities are for coffee enthusiasts who are thirsty to learn more about craft coffee through private events such as cuppings, documentary screenings, etc. We will update members with more details as we plan and coordinate the specific content.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

We hate to see you go but if you must, your membership can be cancelled at any time. Maybe sleep on the decision, because you will no longer have access to member benefits after cancelling your membership. Can we convince you to stay over a hot cup of coffee?
